We are absolutely honored to be shortlisted in FOUR categories for Interior Design magazine’s coveted Best of Year (BOY) award. Britto Charette is a finalist in the Large Residential Transformation and Small Residential Transformation categories for interior design. And two of our team’s furniture designs are also finalists: the Toulouse bench and the Sanza table.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach are home to our award-winning penthouse interior design. We are thrilled to learn that it is now a finalist in the Large Residential Transformation category for the BOY award.
The 6k+ sqft penthouse boasts nearly 8k sqft of outdoor living space and is located atop an adaptive reuse building that affords our clients captivating views of Miami Beach. We have created a design for our clients that is modern and elegant, honoring Piero Lissoni’s architectural vision for the building. Adapting the former hospital space to meet our clients’ needs posed interesting challenges and opportunities for our team, including the chance to include many custom elements.
One of our proud achievements is the custom design of the headboard located in the primary bedroom suite. Designed by Britto Charette and handcrafted by the artisans at Art Space NYC, it provides a textured and elegant focal point in the room.

Our Indianapolis project is a finalist in the Small Residential Transformation category. The mansion features a fabulous primary bedroom suite with a lounge area; a bar; office; living room; dining room; family room; entertainment zone; and much more.
It’s tough to choose just one favorite space in this gorgeous residence, but one that makes us absolutely swoon? The primary bedroom suite. Designed with grandeur in mind, the expansive suite contains living spaces with four different ceiling heights and a showstopping dome—unique and custom ceiling details that our team is proud to have pioneered. The custom headboard is a Britto Charette design and was manufactured by EVM Woodwork. Pocket doors conceal a wet bar that contains a sink, mini fridge, coffee maker, and plenty of shelving/storage. There’s also a seating area for morning coffee and breakfast. And to relax, two beautiful chaise lounges beckon and a swing door leads to a private balcony.

Britto Charette is also excited to share that two of our furniture designs have been recognized by Interior Design magazine. The SANZA coffee table and the TOULOUSE bench are finalists in the Residential Table and the Residential Bench/Stool categories, respectively.
From our Britto Charette interior and industrial design team comes the SANZA, a versatile and sophisticated table set that embodies modern design principles. The two pieces allow for configurations that can be tailored to fit any room, and its customizable options allow it to seamlessly fit into various interior styles.
When designing the SANZA coffee table, Jay Britto drew upon his international travels and the elements in nature that inspired him.
The SANZA is available in custom wood and stone finishes, including Brushed Oak Natural Light, Brushed Oak Sable Dark, and Travertino. The coffee table is available at Carlyle Collective.
Our fourth shortlisted entry is the oh-so-chic TOULOUSE Bench. A stylish and functional bench, it offers a perfect blend of contemporary design and classic appeal, and its range of finishes makes it adaptable to a wide variety of interior styles.
TOULOUSE features COM upholstered finishes and base finishes that are customizable, including Dark Bronze, Brushed Oak Natural Light, Brushed Oak Sable Dark, and Gold.
Just as he did when designing the SANZA, Jay Britto drew upon his extensive time spent visiting museums and buildings of architectural significance when creating the TOULOUSE.
The TOULOUSE Bench is also available at Carlyle Collective.
