Brazilian Company’s WEST EAST Collection Makes Its Debut in Miami’s Design District

Last week, principals Pedro Cabas and David Charette attended an invitation-only brunch at Ornare to celebrate the debut of the luxury Brazilian brand’s WEST EAST collection.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Ornare’s showroom in the Design District, let us be your guide… Purveyors of high-end kitchens, closets, doors, wall systems, accessories, and more, Ornare offers a fabulous selection for their Miami clientele. For the past decade, Claudio Faria, director of Ornare USA, has been one of our go-to kitchen and closet system experts, so we were excited to hear of the brand’s latest collection, WEST EAST.

The WEST EAST collection presents four lines of products: Ikigai, Shaker, Infinite, and Mech, each offering new solutions for kitchens and wardrobes. They are also launching an exclusive new system of doors and a modular bookshelf, along with a variety of new accessories.

Studio Ornare drew from the East and Ikigai, a Japanese concept that refers to ‘a reason for being’ that focuses on bringing joy and meaning to one’s life.

“From the West, we followed the Shaker philosophy – not to make something unless it is both necessary and useful; and if it is both necessary and useful, not to hesitate to make it beautiful,” said Bello Dias, Art Director at Studio Ornare.

A big thank you to Claudio, Fernanda, and the entire team at Ornare. “We really enjoyed seeing the new collection and its materials, finishes, and color palettes,” said Pedro Cabas, principal at Britto Charette. “And to have the chance to meet with our colleagues at a safe and socially-distanced event was nice. We really appreciate the effort their team put into making the brunch a success.”
